The Ovis Hat Class

This is a perfect fall project!  The Ovis Hat by Caitlin Hunter is made using stranded knitting. The class includes instruction on stranded knitting as well as reading the charted pattern.  Please note there is homework for this class.

When:  Saturday, October 17th  1:00pm - 3:00pm

Teacher: Jessica, Main Line Purls Instructor

Prerequisites: This class is for those who know the basics of knitting including long tail cast on, knitting in the round, decreasing and binding off.

Materials: The Ovis Hat Pattern by Caitlin Hunter, needles appropriate for gauge (pattern recommends US 5 and US 7), see pattern for yarn recommendations as there are options, stitch markers and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Homework:  Before class you need to cast on your hat and follow the pattern to complete the ribbing and knit one round.
