Pressed Flowers Hat Class

The Pressed Flowers Hat is a beautiful pattern by Amy Christoffers and it is made using
mosaic knitting. The class includes instruction on how to do mosaic knitting as well as
reading the charted pattern. Please note that there is homework for this class.
Instructor: Jessica, Main Line Purls Instructor
Prerequisites: This class is for those who know the basics of knitting including long tail cast
on, binding off and knitting in the round.

Materials: Two skeins of sport weight yarn (one main color and one contrasting yarn), 16"
circular needles in US 3 & 5 and a set of US 5 double pointed needles for the crown, stitch
markers, a tapestry needle for weaving in ends, and the pattern, which can be purchased here or in store.

Homework: Before class you need to cast on your hat and follow the pattern to complete
the ribbing, knit one round and purl one round with the main color. The class will begin with adding the contrast color and beginning the colorwork.
