Learn to Knit Mittens

Learn to knit mittens with us! We will teach you using a basic pattern from Tin Can Knits. Once you learn how to make a mitten this pattern is the perfect template for personalization and creativity. This class includes homework.

Prerequisites: Experience with knitting in the round using magic loop or DPN’s, knitting, purling and casting on

Homework: The World’s Simplest Mitten pattern from Tin Can Knits, cast on according to your size, and knit the pattern to Thumb Gusset section. We will begin there in class.

 Materials:The World’s Simplest Mitten pattern, DK yarn quantity for your size, US size 3 and 5 32" circular OR DPN’s, stitch markers and a tapestry needle
