The Alpine Bloom Hat is a popular pattern by Caitlin Hunter and it is made using stranded
knitting. The class includes instruction on how to do stranded knitting as well as reading the charted pattern. Please note that there is homework for this class.
When: Sunday, September 13th 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Prerequisites: This class is for those who know the basics of knitting including long tail cast on, knitting in the round, decreasing and binding off
Materials: Two skeins of sport weight yarn (one main color and one contrasting yarn), 16" circular needles in US 3 & 5 and a set of US 5 double pointed needles for the crown, stitch markers, a tapestry needle for weaving in ends and the pattern, which can be purchase here or in store.
Homework: Before class you need to cast on your hat and follow the pattern to complete
the ribbing, and knit one round.
